First family session of the season with the lovely (and lively) Neff family at the park.
Mom, Dad and two young boys looked great in their blue and green. I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that the green (and gold accessories) is a tribute to Sabrina’s alma matter – Baylor University (also the alma mater of my wife and sister-in-law). Sic ’em Bears!
The goal of the photoshoot was to come away with at least one picture in which both boys were looking at the camera – not an easy feat for energetic boys of their age! But we did it! The boys were thrilled by the train tracks at Herman park and loved making choo-choo noises as they walked up and down the tracks.
Overall, it was an exciting afterrnoon at the park with this fun family. It was good experience for me to work with kids of that age, and a good work-out for my wife, who got her exercise for the day by jumping up and down behind me to grab the kids’ attention. Tomorrow she’s off to buy puppets – her new strategy for attracting kids’ eyes towards the camera. We’ve got a family shoot tomorrow afternoon with little ones, so we’ll see how it goes! Perhaps jumping with puppets will do the trick!
